Elvis started in the industry in 2020, continuing research on empathic Pedagogical Conversational Agents (educational chatbots). In the process, he built a master’s and doctoral project about these agents. Moreover, he has launched the entrepreneurial project EduAIA, a SpinUOC 2025 finalist, which focuses on personalising online education through these agents.
Elvis has been involved in web development and graphic design since he was a kid. Together with his trajectory as a researcher, this has given him a baseline for developing a strong online presence. The practice has enabled him to transition into a web developer specialising in knowledge panels and search engine optimisation for early-career and advanced researchers.
Elvis’ success in business and research has been thanks to the endurance mindset developed over the years through sports. He has not stopped using running as a therapy since 2017. He knows how to push the limits, not only in performance but also in building discipline and character. From 2020, he added calisthenics as a primary sport, an activity that, over the years, has evolved into gym training, helping him build a strong and athletic body.
